I'm teaching Augustine's Confessions in the fall to 9th graders and contemplating how to do that "effectively." But for now, I'm just enjoying the re-read.

9th graders?! hallie! that's so exciting--you get to have DISCUSSION!!! can't wait to hear more. i will try to call soon, i know its my turn :)
I know!! I'm excited. I'm also teaching 9th grade writing and 7th grade writing and history (ancient egypt...about which I know very little). I'm still in Michigan so no rush, but call when you can. :-)
