aaahahahaaaaaa. oh no! have you actually used that much more in cooking? :) at least it's garlic. i LOVE garlic. tonight i made chicken sauteed with garlic and onions...simmered in white wine. mmmm.
Well, fortunately I used mostly minced garlic (I bought in a jar.) My most memorable recipe that would have benefited from this knowledge was roasted tomato soup. Needless to say the 3 garlic bulbs I added way overpowered the two tomatoes. I just wasn't as astute as you, Mark. Haha. Andrea, that chicken sounds woooonderful. Mmm.

I learned that when I went to buy three cloves of garlic for my chicken and was thinking that three of those things seemed like an awful lot.
